I have not used any other gun powder nailer. I got this to shoot 2x4's into concrete. I bought it used outside of Amazon. This model was recommended to me by someone familiar with these type of products. I am very happy with it. It is now one of my favorite tools!
Choosing this type of nailer was hard because there are so many models and not many reviews. Hilti itself has a number of powder nailers. This is the nailer to get for framing and general purpose stuff. The 460 is the higher model, it has an automatic reload magazine, same power I believe. The e72 is the lower model, but is loud and only .22 caliber. Then there are numerous other models I don't even want to bother with.
This is the one you want for its capacity to shoot 3" nails. It is also easy to use. It takes a few pounds of pressure to actuate the trigger. It's not super loud that you need hearing protection. It makes a well dampened explosion. It is simple and well made. Keep it clean and oiled and you can...
