Review : Amazing Drill
This is an amazing drill. I'm a DIYer and I'm finishing my basement. When the time came to attach the framing to the poured concrete foundation, I ran into problems because the concrete had large aggregate (1-2" rocks) in it. Using my old hammer drill, it took 1/2 hour to drill a hole in it for the anchors - ugh!
When I learned about rotary hammer drills and found this one for a really reasonable price, I decided to give it a try. What took 1/2 hour before, now takes 30 seconds. I haven't noticed any problems with the chuck loosening up as some other reviews have commented on, but I haven't used it for chipping. It is an amazing tool for drilling through tough material and requires only light pressure when drilling. As a 58 year old woman, I'm also impressed with how lightweight it is and easy to use.
I think, explains the few gripe about Bosch RH328VC 1-1/8-Inch SDS Rotary Hammer not fitting or leaking.
