I deemed this set a better buy than the previous model based on the reviews and design changes of the compressor in comparison. I have used several different Bostitch nailers and I knew they were good quality but wanted to make sure I had a compressor that would last many years for carpentry work and also as an everyday garage compressor for light use blowing off sawdust/mowers or filling tires. This compressor is much more quiet than others I have used and is very easy to operate, it also has two outlet valves, they are regulated to the same pressure but very useful nonetheless. I used it the first weekend it came out of the box and we had a blower tip on one line and the smaller nailer on the other and never had a problem. The nailers/staplers are good Bostitch quality, if you have used them before you know they will get the job done.
