Look no further...used for 1000 nails mix of 3 1/4 .131 and 2 3/8 .121. No missfires, no jams. Set depth light and it put all,,,,all of them between 1/8 and1/4 inch below surface of 2x4....non treated. Use Hitachinails from home depot.
I did spend 1 hour re reading operation and safety in the manual.
I have owned Pasload gas fired finishing nailer since 1999. ...it did work flawlessly for intermitent use over 2 years probably because my clean and lube routine was hap hazard....wont happen again.But i like the Hitachi gun much better.
There is no gas cartridge with the gun...no worries
Pasload red framer cartrige fits and works great,,,, stock no. 816000 $15 a 2pack at home depot
Bostich 728982 framer cartridge also works Paid $11.00 for 2pak at Tool Barn
. The Bostich is supposed to contain some lubricant , which may be a plus for long term operation.
Another plus is Hitachi gun being better is...
