UPDATE: I just drilled over 400 pocket holes in 3/4 MDF and the drill was still going when I finished, although it was slowing noticeably. This work took a few hours and the drill performed perfectly, barring one small problem. The keyless chuck is great, but you will need to tighten the chuck every once in a while, as it did get loose every 25 - 40 holes.
I bought this drill after doing a bit of research on cordless drills. I normally only use corded drills, but I needed a drill with variable torque clutch settings and I couldn't find a corded drill with that feature. I still love my Hitachi D13VG 9 Amp 1/2-Inch Drill, as it has tons of torque, but no clutch.
WARRANTY:
The DS19DBL has a LIFETIME warranty on the drill itself and a two-year warranty on the batteries. That says a lot about the tool...
I think, explains the few gripe regards Hitachi DS18DBL 18-Volt 3.0-Ah Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless Driver Drill not fitting or leaking.
