Aitor Knives - Black Powder Coated Jungle King I Fixed Blade Knife with Black Finish Knurled Handles. Model: AI16016. 14 1/4" overall. 8" black powder coated stainless clip point blade with double cut sawback. Black finish knurled stainless handle. Black finish stainless guard with lashing holes. Stainless pommel unscrews to reveal a compass inside cap and small survival kit stored in clear acrylic tube in handle. O-ring sealed. OD green hard nylon belt sheath with leg ties. Sheath also stores a 7" overall skinner with 2 1/2" guthook blade. One piece stainless construction. Skinner features thumb ridge, ridged handle slot, lashing holes, flathead screwdriver end with bottle/can opener, OD green nylon lanyard. Also stored inside sheath is a pullout tray with latex powerbands for slingshot, empty vial and sharpening stone. Back of tray features ruler, S.O.S. signals and signaling mirror. Review : Finally, A Knife Company Got It Right!!!

After having this knife now for a few days and spending some time with it, I felt that I needed to come on here and edit my review of this magnificent knife. My original compliments on this knife are still true. And it is by far just about the best knife I have ever had (well, that isn't including the handmade knives that I have, but its quality is pretty much at least equal to them). Anyway, the knife came perfectly and superbly wrapped for heavy Shipping and also to prevent any damage to it at all. My sincere compliments to the Shipping/ Receiving Department at AExtreme for this. Awesome job, guys!
The knife's blade came hair-shaving razor sharp right out of the box. However, as i do with every knife I buy, I begin putting my own personal preferred edge on them the moment I get them. I am not sure how the manufacturers do it, but when I first get a good quality knife, it is so sharp and just slices through things like a brand new unused razor...
I think, explains the few gripe respecting Aitor Jungle King I Black (Original Aitor) not fitting or leaking.
