I have always been a DeWalt fan, but decided to give the Hitachi a shot after reading reviews and ratings. So far so good - light and powerful. I've really only used it a few times but it's far superior to my old nicad DeWalt. Battery life seems good and it runs strong right up to the point the battery quits. This isn't a bad thing, just make sure you have a backup battery charged and ready to go.
