I bought this unit for numerous projects around the house. I just finished installing 50 fence posts and used this laser level to keep them at the same height. When finished I checked them with a manual optical construction level and a tape measure and found them to be no more than 1/8" off in a 200' radius. If using this laser level outside you must used the detector, the beam is not visible.
I think, explains the few gripe regards Johnson Level and Tool 40-6515 Self-Leveling Rotary Laser Level not fitting or leaking.
