Review : Powerful, accurate and durable
I read reviews on various manufacturers and combo types before choosing this kit. I wanted a combination where both tools were relatively equal in quality so one tool wasn't for show while the other one was for work. Since this kit is relatively new, there weren't many reviews but the manufacturers specs made this an immediate selection for me. First, I wanted a hammer drill that would do the basic jobs of drilling through a variety of materials, make accurate holes and be easy to handle. I don't do a lot of masonry work but, when I do I want accuracy and performance. The first job I gave the LXPH03 was a light demo job through cinder block, rebar, mortar and brick. Using a Bosch 1/2" x 12" Blue Granite Turbo masonry bit made this job a snap. It ran through the cinder with no effort. Even the cinder block side walls were drilled through with minimal effort. The Hammer Drill also made easy work of the mortar. The brick was a different story. Although the drill seemed to have sufficient...
